Sandy's Baby Shower

How cute are the invitations?!
They were made by my sweet friend Ashley :)

My sister in law Lauren and I threw a baby shower for Sandy (our sister in law) a few days before Christmas. Since they do not plan on finding out what they are having, we went for the perfect neutral colors: light yellow and green.

We did these in lieu of games!!!
(find them here- i get mine printed at UPS)

We had Crystal Light Mojito and Lemonade (keeping up with the theme here)

Enjoying the yummy brunch food.... We had banana bread, egg casserole,
chicken salad and egg salad sandwiches, cupcakes, chips, cookies, and fruit salad.

My mama in law made the cupcakes and cute duck cookies!
(everything she bakes is so yummy!)

Time to open gifts!

Mustache pacifiers and Clemson items
Laughter at some of the "suggestive" clothing

A snugglebug (of course)!!

(The shirt says "Mommy and Daddy's Future Running Buddy")

Proud grandmas/mothers? I'm not sure they have names yet......

We had a fun time showering Sandy with love, gifts, food, and prayer!
We are excited for their new adventure in parenting!!
And we look forward to meeting baby Pepin at the end of March/beginning of April!!!

Ben's Bar Mitzvah

I was given the opportunity to put together the decorations for my first ever paid event (back in May) !!! :) Because of the decor photos from my brother & sister in law's wedding, I was contacted about doing the same for a bar mitzvah party. I'd never been to one before and was definitely in for a fun experience!!

My parents, sister, and in-laws were also invited to join in the celebration.
We enjoyed our first Hora along with lots of singing and dancing!
It was apparent that everyone had a wonderful time!

Welcome to Ben's Bar Mitzvah!

The guest book was a Virginia Tech helmet!!!

The water bottle favors and the Welcome Table

 A few of the centerpieces

They had all sorts of ice cream in a freezer for later in the evening :)

Pawley's Front Porch catered the event.....
They had amazing fish tacos, fried pickles, chips & queso, fruit & veggie trays,
mini hamburgers, sweet potato fries, and more!

Guests enjoying the food, drinks, music, and atmosphere!

Hubs was such a wonderful help!!

Remake 7 {Pinterest}

Hey y'all!
It's been a while since I've posted my Pinterest creations!! Let's get to the good stuff, shall we?

1. Pretzel Bites ****
These were awesome!! Crunchy and salty on the outside....soft and doughy on the inside.

2. Braided T-shirt necklace *****
Easy Peasy. Fold a tshirt in half and cut 1-2 inch strips up to the armpit. Braid three strands together and there you have it!!! I can't wait to make more in different colors :)

3. Yearly Christmas Card Album****
I have SO many saved Christmas cards from the past several years that just sit in a box. This year I decided to use these free printables, a hole punch, and binder rings to make my own mini album. I can't wait to pull out previous years and do the same!

4. Homemade Sushi***
OK, so Matt really made this!! My roll turned into a big mess. Having a professional make them is so much easier and less time consuming (at least in my opinion)! Granted it still tasted great :)
