Wordless Wednesdays {Downton Abbey}

After hearing all the hype about Downton Abbey, Matt and I decided to watch Season 1 on Netflix together. To which we soon fell in love. The characters, the cinematography, the costumes, the British accents, the story, the house.....it's all so beautiful and enchanting!! We caught up with the rest of Season 2 on PBS.org and were able to watch the last episodes live :) I love having a show we both enjoy to watch together!!

Even if you aren't into the whole "Jane Eyre" type books or movies, this show has depth, humor, twists, and turns. It's excellent. I can't say enough about how much I like this show. Plus, it has Maggie Smith from Harry Potter ;) She is one of my favorite characters as the grandmother.

So much for being WORDLESS ;)

Valentine's Reflection

Matt and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day.

We reflected on the 5 years we have shared together & their traditions:

we have seafood of some sort cooked at home

he gets me lots of tulips (my favorite)

we always get different desserts

and we drink Izze sodas

We've also discovered each year we've been in different cities:

  2008- Lexington

 2009 -Nashville

2010- Columbia

    2011- Rocky Mount

  2012- Charleston

Who knows where we will be next Vday?
