Mark & Charla's Wedding

My cousin Mark was getting married to his sweet fiancee Charla in their home state of Texas. They were so supportive and made the effort to come to our wedding three years ago, we wanted to reciprocate....plus, they're family!!!! ;) My family lived in Texas when I was younger, so it was also nice to go back after all those years and I have never been to Austin. Since Matt was now with us, we met up with the entire family on Friday night at the Rehearsal Dinner. We were finally meeting all of Charla's family.

The food was pretty amazing!!
 I think I can say it was the best food I've ever  had at a reception!!!!!
& the cake was SO yummy I had two pieces!

The wedding was absolutely beautiful.
They had a cool photo booth, open bar, great food, dancing, and many special family moments. It was a lot of fun! I am thankful to have a wonderful new cousin!!
Congratulations y'all! Here's to many more years together!

Family Vacay {Austin Part 2}

Matt flew into Austin on Friday morning and we met him on S. Congress to do a little shopping and sight-seeing. This was my favorite area of Austin due to all the cute shops and places to eat. I especially liked Uncommon Objects.

Around

We ate lunch in a "food truck park". There were so many airstreams!

After lunch, Matt and I headed out on our own for a bit.

Then, we met up with Dad and K to walk around the University of Texas' campus.

Saturday morning, Matt and I got up early and walked around downtown. We had the most amazing coffee and vanilla latte at Summer Moon and breakfast crepes at La Cafe Crepe. We tried to take as many photos of local art and wall murals...they were all awesome!

On the search for cowboy boots!!!

After our morning jaunt, we did a little more shopping and met up with our family for lunch at Guerro's

and our last wall art stop....

We really loved Austin! and we wish we had had more time there!
Maybe someday we can go back for longer than a weekend!
